Value Delivered

Dalmatian Fire was selected to the project’s design-assist team based on our vast experience working within healthcare environments.

As part of the team for nearly a year, we helped meet the client’s needs by producing comprehensive fire protection requirements and developing several budgets for presentation to the client’s board.

We were also able to build a rack system off-site for the patient tower’s sprinkler mains and lines. We then disassembled the rack system, shipped it to the site, and completed installation on site. Once the racks were installed, we connected the ends of the mains, helping to fast-track a large portion of the project.

Client Objectives

The client needed facility-wide fire protection solutions throughout their new hospital campus, as well as assistance with developing fire protection requirements and budgets.

Solutions

Throughout this seven-story, more than 500,00-square-foot, 210-bed hospital, patient tower, and five-story medical office building, Dalmatian Fire installed fire protection solutions including:

  • Approximately 6,000 sprinklers
  • A remote pump house with water supply coming from the City main
  • A pond for water-supply redundancy for the hospital
  • Sprinkler mains and lines in a rack system for three floors within the patient tower
